Projects & Community Work

Clare was approached by her local primary school, she was asked to advise and help with enhancing the ambience of the cramped school dining hall. The project had been developed as a result of a visit by the HMI inspectors .

Clare set a project for all year groups within the school, this involved the children painting a variety of different fruits and vegetables in line with promoting the schools healthy eating policy . All the completed paintings were displayed in each of the classrooms.

The children from each room choose their favourite painting and three winners from each class worked with Clare to reproduce their work to hang permanently in the school dining hall. The school dining hall is now a gloriously vibrant and fun space in which the children can all take pride in their fantastic work. .

Burnside Primary school won funding from RBS to create an outdoor learning space, Clare worked with the children to create a fantasy garden full of colour and fun. Using the childrens vivid images and wonderful imagination a fantastic inspirational space has been developed.
